Just rose up from my bed... Turned on the TV
but no good show & switched to Eli Soriano's channel,
maybe this will keep me awake (HAR!) thru laughter.
Sample: His musical passage/break sounds like the
tune of Beatles' "OBLADI OBLADA" HAR!

E.S. was answering questions from his audience
One asked about the creation of false images...
yet there is another verse that says God commanded
that a structure be built with "querubins" (cherubs)
or tiny angels with human features...
[Of course all "Christians" should be asked about
the Deuteronomy verse concerning the prohibition against
creation/worship of idols... yet they insist in worshiping idols!]
This is a major problem with the Bible: one can find diametrically
opposed statements. LOTS of these. In logic: contradictions...

This is good for those in DA'WAH when confronted with
idol-worshipers... I read somewhere a long long time ago that
there is a verse in the Bible that is clearly
false & outright UNSCIENTIFIC
It has something to do with the numerical value of
the irrational number PI (= 3.1415...), the constant ratio of the circumference
to the diameter of the circle. There is a description in the Bible about the construction
of some structure that is circular or rounded & if one will really
follow the recipe given one would be led to a value
of PI = 3 or another FIXED terminating value
Bible scholars or experts can supply the
details... THIS IS A CLEARLY UNSCIENTIFIC ITEM FROM
THE BIBLE... SO how can something "Holy" provide
an erroneous (scientific-wise) information.
Is error from God or from the Devil???

Am not so fond of "Bible debates" or even religious
debates (the forte of DEEDAT) because I know these are all
useless or exercises in futility
Of course in philosophy the name of the game is disagreement
but dialectics (as practiced by the Greeks) is supposed to aid
one's thinking or is meant to lead to clarity or "truth"
Debates can be useful practice to develop one's public speaking skills
(rhetorics) & quick thinking... Am not a good debater...

But of course people who watch Soriano or I.N.C. channel are
less worse than those who watch basketball...

Basketball, baseball volleyball, the BALL
a round thing that is the focus of attention of thousands of people
when watching a ballgame... Come to think of it If you were an
ET observing humans watching basketball. you might be misled into
thinking that the BALL is the real object of attention of the whole affair
But in a sense it IS really the object of attention...

O HINDI KA NANINIWALA SA CONSPIRACY THEORIES?
A BALL GAME IS ANOTHER CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT HUMANS
CAN BE "FOOLED" & MANIPULATED...

Soriano's phenomenonal ability to attract large crowds is
just a sign that the established religions in RP or at least Manila
have failed or are not doing their job or have outlived their usefulness.
My question: if religion is the highest authority or final arbiter
then who should get the blame for this rotten state of affairs in this
realm they call the "Philippines"?
Definitely, NOT the MUSLIMS...
