Just created a NEW BLOG ON LOGIC

LOGIC is one of my REAL (academic) interests... I never considered myself as having any TALENT in mathematics but I really felt I was sharp in LOGIC... Unfortunately, I never had any experience in the ACADEME [I once even tried to train as a MATH teacher & enrolled in a graduate course towards this profession but stopped after one semester... but I am still trying to educate myself as a MENTOR despite my age... [I am the youngest in our family but in/with our age we are already "one foot in the grave" or "amoy lupa" na... LOGIC derives from the Greek "LOGOS"... and the Greek philosopher Aristotle is considered its founding father... But there is now a modern version which is the object of my study in graduate school... Without really being PRESUMPTUOUS, I possess enough WISDOM in this field that I can really say I can SMELL OUT those who really know (as in UNDERSTAND) LOGIC around here...

TO MUSLIMS:
I DO NOT KNOW BUT I AM STILL WONDERING WHEN/ IN WHAT PERIOD OF THE HISTORY OF ISLAAMIC CIVILIZATION THE MUSLIMS LEARNED TO BE ILLOGICAL!!! DON'T MUSLIMS KNOW THAT IT WAS THEIR ANCESTORS WHO PRESERVED THE IMPORTANT WRITINGS OF THE GREEKS? IF NOT FOR THE MUSLIM SCRIBES WHO EAGERLY STUDIED OTHER SYSTEMS OF KNOWLEDGE & HAND-COPIED FOREIGN WORKS, THEN THE WEST OF TODAY WOULD STILL BE IGNORANT BARBARIANS LIVING IN THE DARK AGES... A PH.D. FRIEND OF MINE WHEN I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE U.S., IN WHAT ITS KEY STRENGTH LAY... HE SAID AMERICANS WERE VERY EFFICIENT... & LOGICAL...

I HAVE SOME INSIGHT INTO HOW THE MUSLIMS BECAME ILLOGICAL & LOST THE INITIATIVE...
