RAMADHAN
This is the sacred MONTH of the MUSLIM CALENDAR when ISLAAM's PROPHET received the REVELATION of the QUR'AN...
(Yes dear readers, the JULIAN & GREGORIAN CALENDARS are not the only calendars available to mankind. Even the Indian Hindus, the Chinese Confucians, the Persians, the South American Indian Mayans/Aztecs, etc etc have/had their own system of time-reckoning... The MUSLIMS have their own HIJRAH calendar...)
During this month, Muslims are supposed to practice more fully their religion (OF COURSE, there are non-practicing MUSLIMS, CHRISTIANS, BUDDHISTS ETC ETC = These people are identified with their professed religions "in name only" or more respectable, "NOMINALLY"...)
Since I consider myself a MUSLIM I should not be tackling my suspicious CONSTHEOs now... NEVERTHELESS/BUT this is not really an ISLAAMic website. I would still discuss my CONSTHEOs though a bit tempered... As concession to the AGAMA (See what it means to be HALF-COOKED!), I'll add some DA'WAH (ISLAAM propagation) notes like ISLAAMIC links, ideas... At least I can help MUSLIMS by showing NON-MUSLIMS that ISLAAM is not just about war, violence, terrrorism as effectively promoted by MEDIA...

Part of the MUSLIM FAITH is belief in the reality of THE UNSEEN - knowledge of which is termed in ARABIC as "ILM-UL-GHAIB". If one is a MATERIALIST, then she does not believe in this... SCIENTIFIC MATERIALISM, DIALECTICAL MATERIALISM, any world-view classified as "MATERIALIST" etc etc therefore entail non-belief in this...
